Stress is unhealthy. It has a huge impact on not only your physical well-being, but also your mental well-being. With a culture that breeds extenuating stressors, heightened by uncontrollable variables like pandemics and isolation, it is more important than ever to ten to your mental as well as your physical health. A great way to do this is with a CBD spa day!
The reason is simple: If stress is the negative, relaxation is the positive.
Relaxation, in many forms, is healthy for your mind and body. Relaxed states, as opposed to those with elevated stress levels, can correlate to lower blood pressure, reduced muscle tension, and a better pain response. Relaxation will help you feel better, improve your response to challenging situations, and even will affect those around you in a positive way.
Since the spas are closed (and hey, often way too expensive) here's our recipe for the perfect stay at home CBD spa day.
Step One: Create a Sanctuary (& Enable Yourself to Relax)
First things first: cleanse your space and get rid of all of the negative energy.- We suggest either burning some Sage or Palo Santo. The act of burning sage and setting out stones helps you to set the intention of relaxing.
- Get out those crystals, amethyst can help to relax your mind and bring clarity. Celestite helps get rid of chaotic thoughts and clears up your head space. Fluorite helps with balance and clarity.
- Prep your cup of CBD tea and water. We suggest brewing a cup of Tranquility Tea Metolius Mint. It helps with soothing the stomach and refreshing the senses.
Step Two: Draw a Bath
We suggest using our Slumbering CBD Bath Soak for your bath. There's a few reasons. First, the calming scent of lavender will work to relax the body and mind. Next, the provitamins, zinc, and CBD help nourish and soothe your skin. This bath soak (unlike salts or artificially colored bombs) will leave you feeling smoother than you've felt in a LONG time. It light, calming, and encompasses the body in a warm embrace. Tips:- Take sips of your tea, deeply inhaling the mint. This will help your mind relax. Focus on the taste if quieting the mind is difficult.
- Remember to drink water.
